Tour two followed tour one with a very early start to be ready for our island cruise. The boat was quite large, probably holding about 200 people. After following the east coast south out first stop was the island of Paxos.

We took a mini excursion to the Blue Caves. This was well worth it. The caves have a blue substance on the walls causing the pretty blue colour in the water. It really is indescribable in words and even the photos don’t do it justice.

On the way back we went through a lagoon area and had an opportunity to swim off the boat in crystal clear 6 metre deep water. It is one of the best swimming experiences I’ve ever had.

We had time to have a quick walk around the port of Gaios before we boarded the boat to Antipaxos. Although we didn’t stop at this island we got close enough for photos of the again crystal clear bays.

Parga was our final stop on the trip and a chance for more swimming in this bay on the mainland of Greece. I just loved the sight as we pulled into the dock of all the colourful houses and taverna’s along the dock. The water was a lot colder here than other places we had swam. Sadly we only had two hours here and we were back off to Corfu, approximately two hours away.
